As soon as I sit down at the key board, my fingers go to work so my mind can enjoy the story that is stored somewhere in the subsconscious. When I write a story, it is as interesting to me as any new book that I ever read because as I write, I have no idea what's coming next and I am often surprised. As a high school student, I could read a book in an hour, and I read more than a thousand during those years. Somehow, little bits and pieces of all those books got into my deep subconsciousness and now they are flowing back in different patterns, but certainly without a doubt, influenced by all that reading. My books in the Paradise Series were all written in a short time, but the editing, formatting, layout and cover design takes months of frustration. I love writing, it is all the work comes afterwards that gives me a mental block. I never have a writer’s block, but I often have something akin to an obsession.
